| As you know, us kids grow! I am now 2 years and 9 months old. I am over 3 feet and almost 35 lbs. And fitting in 3-4T clothes! But most people ask mom if I am almost 4. Probably becuase I have a rather large vocabulary, I am not boasting, just sharing how I am growing. I blew the doctor away with my knowledge of body parts as well as with my knowledge of how they work. And well the other day Mom was surprized to find out that I am spelling. Did you know that mom is spelled "M-O-M"? My sister, Lydia, is also growing. She is about 16 lbs and "so big". She can sit and army crawl and talks and talks and talks. She is pulling up on things and grabing everything. On monday her ears got some tubes put in because they have been so infected. The doctor said because her u-station tubes are to skinny and horizontal she gets lots of infections, so now there is a hole in her ear drum so they can drain. Other than that we are having a blast here in the Goodwill "CRIB". You should come and visit us. chow Madelyn | | |
| Can I just say my big sister is CRAZY! So crazy that I just have to laugh at her. My mommy and papa took us to Chi-town for a week. What a blast we had. But it took 5 hours in the car (plus some because of the trafic) and when I wasn't sleeping I just watched my sister. She is so full of it. She talks and talks and talks. I can't wait to be able to play with her. I have been working on crawling, but so far I move as fast as a snail on my belly. We have lots of pictures and even some video from the trip, but it make take mom hiring a babysitter to get them up loaded to this place. Maybe some day you will see them! Maddy got to sleep in a big bed (she sleeps in a toddler bed here at home) all vacation and now she is begging mom and dad for one in her room. I don't know if she will get one or not, but I heard them discussing it! Shhh, don't tell her. Here is a funny one of me using maddy's potty while mom fills the tub for us... and here we are in the tub. Maddy was making me clothes out of soap!
Well I am hungry, feeling like a grande leche might just hit the spot! later. Love, Lydi-bug

| I know I haven't updated, but having a baby sister is a lot of work. Lydia is growing fast. Last week she went to the doctor for her 4 month check up. She is 12 lbs and 24 inches long with a huge head (16 inches around) must have big brains like me! Lydia is rolling these days as well as talking up a storm. She like to stand with mom and dad holding her and today she was rolling over me! It sure is great to be a big sister. | | |
| My dearest big sister please take care of daddy while I am out with mom. Don't forget to tuck him in tonight and wake him up by 6am. Say hello to Mrs Veronica and Rick for me and enjoy the fish fry. Make sure to take our "ride" out for at least one trip, I don't want it to just sit around, plus mom says dad needs the excersise. I will miss you. I love you. -Lydia | | |
